RFID Asset and Supply-Chain Monitoring

RFID tracking systems use electromagnetic fields to transmit data from an RFID label ( tag ) to a reader. RFID labels are powerless, the electronic chip receives it’s energy from the RF waves and returns a serial number ( as an active barcode ) The chip can store a large amount of data on it. Readers can be a hand held Scanners, a gate, or a ceiling antenna. It’s possible to scan bulks of RFID labeled items without a line of sight, even if packed.
